The Ploughman's Talk 2, is a classic book of practical wisdom. That is, tracts of wisdom. The book which is due to come up for public consumption by December 2008, sums up everything that has to be said in the fields of child rearing, the youth, drinking of wines and strong drinks, education, death, laziness, anger, stubborness, lateness, greed, highhandedness, and lots more, as well as other desiderata without which a balanced personality can hardly be formed.

Further, this book is the author's attempt to awaken the consciousness of the present generation to the importance of wisdom and the application of the dictates of wisdom to day to day living.

The Ploughman 2
If the Holy Book were expressible, The Ploughman’s Talk (2) could be Vol. II of the Book of Wisdom, for words of wisdom begin the book, saturate it and bring it to a close. If one attempts to underline the deep thoughts in the book, he soon gives up as he finds himself underlying every line. So you just have to peruse on, chew the words, digest them, and nourish your mind, as each page makes you wiser.

Socrates aptly expressed the truth of our pilgrims state when he said that life not periodically examined is not worth living. Wise sayings have proved effective models for coping with the challenges of life. The Ploughman’s Talk presents a storehouse of such philosophical and witty thought, at once universal and adapted to the Nigerian environment. The book calls our attention not just with the author’s direct and often humorous style, but also by the menu of ethical and spiritual cleansing which this digital age urgently needs.

This piece of work has wisdom and advice for all and sundry. “A word is enough for the wise.” Let us be our brothers’ keeper. Live a life worthy of our existence, for The Ploughman has done his part.

The Ploughman 2, is such a wonderful book that book lovers can hypnotically prefer to food, as the food of taught it is, is enough even to sustain the life of every wisdom seeking mind.
